Tell me you favorite spots! I'm just doing my last minute planning for the weekend and had to share this video from Halfway (2004), about 20 mins walk from Dixies crossroads :luxhello:
YouTube - Best viewing on Rally GB? (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AEKOzaGL4zI)

Deers Leap used to be great but the gravel replacement road is nowhere near as good :(
Anyone got any locations as good as this you'd be prepared to spill the beans on? :notworthy

Nice vid.
That's one of the best places I know if it's length of time you can see the cars for that matters most.

Thanks. Actually, it was quite exciting too if stood in the right (wrong?) spot. The Focus in the vid above was a bit slow really - I'll upload a short clip of Markko Martin trying a bit harder :)
I'd love to see some decent jumps though. I'm thinking of trying to find that spot on the Port Talbot stage mentioned elsewhere, it sounds pretty cool.
Which are your favourites?
Cheers,
Steve

I have been told that the right hander near the end of your video clip is an exciting bend... flat out sideways, so i have been told, but i have never tried it.... just keep walking for about 15 mins from the uphill hairpin

That sounds pretty cool. Looks quite fast from across the valley. Bit of a trek though.
Here's my vid: YouTube - Duval on Rally GB (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=of9JVZ6UvUo)
Will have a few thoughts for Beef this year :(
Edited because I'm an idiot - I have a photo of Markko and Beef, but the video is Duval.

Steve,
It's at "junction" (ie not really a junction) 4. Long straight with nice views out over Port Talbot to the sea.
Enjoy!

I've found the sweeping RH bend at Rheola with rocks inside you always see on TV footage. And there's a good jump after the uphill h/pin near Aberpergwm wood. But they're both a complete nightmare to get to.
