We are travelling down from the Midlands Thursday night and trying to get in the stage too. Based on previous years they open the stage car parks before the stated time due to the number of people there.

I don't forsee a problem.

Will also be trying to get in here thursday night. The more people turn up the better the chances. Anyway, you never know, someone may even turn up with a key:norty:

I'll be trying to get in there myself. Setting off from Manchester at 10pm so should be getting there about 1ish. Hopefully you early arrivals will have forced them to open up. It's ridiculous if they don't. I've been following the rally now at about 15 years and I've only ever had one problem. On that ocassion we parked up on the forestry commision road and the cheeky marshalls had the cheek to come knocking on car windows trying to get the money off us at 1am. That was back in the days of 3 pound per car.

I have just come back from the port talbot stage, i walked it with me dog. As I got to the forestry i saw some signs saying forestry closed, . mmmmh whats all this about. Turns out all cars are doing their recce up there between 7am and 2pm today. Saw a load of cars, Honda accord estate ripping it up round the stage. The surface on some of the corners was torn up quite a bit, considering that the cars are not going fast on stages and only a handful have been through, so god help them when the stage goes live.

As I was walking up to the stage there was a sign saying that the road will be closed from, 8pm Thursday till 7pm on Friday, so im guessing it'll be open to ticket holders but not joe public.
