Im driving from Nottingham on the Thursday evening. Is anyone else heading down the M42 down to Wales? It would be cool to have another car to tag along with?

im off down weds night.M54,M6,M5,M50,A40,A449 then M4 to service area

Hey Tez, It'll be quicker if you follow the A40 at Raglan towards Abergavenny then pick up the A465 heads of the valley road towards Neath then onto M4 at J43...
Service is only 10 mins up M4 then.....
Theres some roadworks west of Abergavenny 30mph limit for about 3 miles, but after that it's fast bypass roads + you'll be passing Rheola and Resolven area so may see some pre rally action lol...
Prob save about 20mins that way ,and thats in a lorry pmsl

go on o'neill you know it makes sense,i have done for the last few years,save the drive down on the thursday morning and your more then likely get the 1st bus over there and get a good spot

The road works are petrolled by unmarked cars aswell, all the wat to the Brynmawr rounderabout

Going down Thurs morning about 7 from cheshire So thats the M6, M5, M50 into newport by the time i get there the M4 should be clear ( I hope ):lol1:

Doing the opposite to most tomorrow night. Going to NEC to take 4 of the best lookin girls in south wales to see Pink in concert. WOW lucky me. Then back to Wales and to recce by 8am. A great start to a perfect weekend.
