Default My 2004 Satin Silver CTR

After a years ownership I decided I'll have a play and see if I can improve this already fun car, its not a monster we all work to a budget.

Mods so far, AEM V2 induction, Hondata KPRO ecu, Jackson racing header and decat, Buddyclub Spec IV exhaust, lowered on Eibach springs and fast road geometery setup with camber adjustments, JDM rear anti-roll bar and DC sports rear lower tie bar.

To come, rlling road setup, Hondata inlet manifold gasket, Spoon throttle body and we'll see if I can stretch to a Rotrex 9psi supercharger conversion and Quaiffe LSD. I need to perfect the art of ****ting money for now.

With the council banging ****e down on the roads with the winter coming in I got a bit carried away with the clean and a few extra layers of wax.

Comments guys?

Mate of mine used to have a Silver CTR with a Jackson Super Charger conversion running 9 PSI, it was extremely fast, but did used to torque steer really bad and struggled to get traction at low speeds. He since sold it and now owns a DC5.

A CTR was on my 'possible' list before buying the Scoob. I still like the look of them. The thing that put me off was the 'Type R' crap that Halfords put out, them copying the interior items cheapened the Civic in some way to me.
Nice motor though!

thought the post was going to be a troll attempt

i have a mate who is local, half owns a motorsport shop in newcastle and they have a company demo civic that is running a turbo, front mount, supposed new engine block, etc etc, it was supposed to be capable of 600bhp, but it keeps breaking things

i think it did 350ish last time on the rolling road but kept getting to hot and spluttering (might be wrong its been a while!)

TDi North/System R in Warrington have a CTR with a 2.4 bottom end IIRC, running lowish boost and only revving it to 7000rpm gave approx 620bhp, be nice to see what figures the animal puts out when its fully setup, I'm booked in next month so hope to check it out and get some good ideas advice for my next step of mods.

Had a rolling road tune yesterday and was given a clean bill of health and 232bhp, not bad for a bread van.

Looks nice!

My mate Carl has a Cosmic grey one with a few mods, he is usually on the Civic Type R forum, think his user name is N77.

Would love to see what they go like with a Supercharger fitted!
