I need new rubber, using Toyo at present, but have been into local garage and has offerd me some Goodyear F1's for £83 fitted inc vat,(225,45,17) is there a certain type of F1, Can anyone help on this matter,

GSD2 are the old version
GSD3 are the new version.

£83 is a pretty good price.

GSD3's are great, i'm on them currently after a set of toyo's an they are miles better both it grip and wear.

Make sure you get the y load rated tyre. They has been instances of tyre walls splitting on the lower rated tyres

Try Grants Tyres in Cwmcarn, he was doing F1's in 17" for £75 a few months ago, don't know if he can still get them for that price though.

just ordred them online ... the GS-D3.... payed $851.30 so like 425pounds but thats express shipping from america..... 245 40 17 size.... so 83 pounds is good

Depends how wide the rim is, probably need an 8J wheel for 245's

Be like dragster wheels :)
Just put 215/45/17's on my classic and they're rubbing a bit every now and again. Think its on the suspension, just another excuse for me to get the coil overs she deserves :rolleyes: :)
