I will be in Cardiff on Friday (on business) and am thinking of taking a trip to the service park. Is it easy to find?, is there plenty of parking? is it worth going to?

Any advice welcome.

It's based just off M4 J46. Parking is pretty good, and I have visited it on average 3-4 times on each WRGB so far. It's good when a service is taking place, but even when there's not there's still alot to see. And you may get to use some of the simulators and other attractions without having to queue. And maybe spot some motorsport & TV celebs wandering about.
I marshalled it in 2003 & 2004. And the "quiet periods" were more interesting.

Just head west on the M4 get off at J46 and look to your right you should be able to see all the action think its the 5th exit off the rounderbout.

I belive its a fiver to get in, easy to find well worth a look

Yeah - well worth a trip down there.
Its amazing to watch them service those cars - like a military operation!
If you want to see a service get there early to get a good view. If you want to see SWRT you need to be there about an hour before to get near the front.

We spent a whole day there in 2004 (only had stage passes for Sunday) and we really enjoyed it. (thought we might get bored - but we didn't!)

There's plenty of parking - but make sure you wrap up warm!

Thanks for replying to Mr SCOOB, you answered my question:thumb: We will be there on Saturday morning before going on to Cardiff.:luvlove: If parking in cardiff looks difficult, but I don't think it will be, A tip for those of you not local maybe to park up and catch the train in. ie. Merthyr to Cardiff line. the station is right outside the stadium.:thumb:

You can normaly park above Cardiff Castle About a 10 min walk to stadium
