I take it its nothing to do with BBC losing the coverage next year???

That’s what we pay are TV License for, Fecking rip off merchants we must be a minority because everyone loves Poxey football, don’t worry about the other sports we have in this country anyway we forget that footballers are the most brainiest in the world roll on Dave Richards WRC coverage to come and I hope it's put on Channel 4,5 or itv not the bloody bbc.There's been more coverage on Eurosport than the bbc. What happend to the "British Broadcasting Company" no it's "Football Broadcasting Completly"

My comment to the BBC

I feel that the Network Q rally coverage was very disappointing their seemed to be more on Sky than the bbc.
I think that if all the effort was put into covering the rally in a bit more detail not just the highlights as normal remember that there are more than the top 20 drivers in the event.
And remember that it’s the clubman that keeps motor sport running and thriving in this country and the top drivers had to start a the bottom some time.

ps. and some thanks to the clubs and individuals that give up their time to help and run the events wouldn't go a miss

Just a quick note about your coverage of the Rally GB

I wondered if you were aware that the Rally GB is part of a world series? It was in fact the final round and there was the oppurtunity for two British drivers to have won World champion status. In Fact Richard Burns won the title, he's english by the way.

You are clearly blissfully unaware of the milions of people in this country who may of wished to see this event.

I wonder what reason you might offer for being unable to show reasonable coverage of such a high profile event? Naturally I realise you need to offer an hours build up to a rugby match but surely you could offer more than 2.5 minutes of a world rally?

I agree - far too little coverage, but I did chuckle at an interview they did with Colin McRae - the caption at the bottom said "Colin McRae - Subaru".

Channel 4 have the WRC NEXT year so expect some propper Airtime!

If I read this thread correctly then what some people would have liked was a closing party. Now obviously they're not going to spend the taxpayers money on the final event - wouldn't that be nice - but they could still go out with a bang yet.

LOL - as a Scot this is the coverage from the EBC (English Brodcasting Corp) I would have expected if Colin McRae had won it. Can anyone tell me if under European law we have to pay a licence fee?

BBC Wales was involved. I saw some coverage from them.

I complained too, and wished Channel 4 well with their 2002 coverage :)
