Rich,

I've been lingering in here for weeks - in fact I spend more time in here than the General forum!

With Christmas coming up, have you got any suggestions for beginners, maybe something like a starters ‘gift' pack assortment of products?

The Mrs wanted to get me this (http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_16 6211_langId_-1_CarSelectorCatalogId__CarSelectorGroupId__varien t__categoryId_31372_crumb_33958-33974_parentcategoryrn_31372) when she was in Halfords getting the kids a booster seat last week, but I politely dissuaded her…

I love reading your job reviews, the results look truly jaw dropping.

All the best, DBB.

PS. I’ve got a 2001 silver bug-eye wagon.

 Good man for dodging the AG kit - average by anyone's standards! I can think of a nice package for Xmas for a silver car, how about our Basic Wash Kit and our Jeffs Werkstatt Acrylic Kit? This will give you everything you need to keep the car looking awesome and well protected, and the Werkstatt Kit is even on special offer at the moment! Here's the links...

JEFFS Werkstatt Acrylic Glos (http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/pb216maintain.html) (scroll down to see the kit)

If the budget is tighter, Menzerna's Acrylic Jacket comes as a kit, and acts as a one step polish and protectant that gives a really decent finish on all colours (the kit comes with the Acrylic Jacket, a PowerScrubber applicator and a decent MF buffing towel). Here's the link...

Hope that helps, the other thing we can do is put together bespoke kits, as we have been doing this pretty much all year long for anyone who asks for help choosing what to go for!

Would this give me longer protection over the winter months than the JEFFS Acrylic Jet Trigger that I currently use?

No, because you can't layer the Acrylic Jacket (because it contains 40% Final Polish II, and so strips previous layers when you apply it. The beauty of Trigger is that you build up the layers and thus the level of protection. :)

All good then. I will crack on with the Trigger :thumb:
