Hope I'm just being really stupid but if you spill a hot cuppa tea on your car can it harm the paint work? I don't see how it can but would like to know for shore as I want to look after me Scooby.

Just in case you were wondering, me and a mate went to a car boot sale to sell some junk today and he only went and used me spoiler as a table for his tea!:eek: :nono: ...of course the inevitable happened and he knocked it over,:rolleyes: bloomin tea all over me boot lid!, didn't really worry at the time but its left a rather nasty mark.

Unless really hot it shouldn't have done much damage, and even then it would only be surficial, so should polish out. As always, decent piccies of the problem would help us to advise better. :)

Cheers for the reply:thumb: I used a wee drop of washing up liquid in some warm water to wipe it off (couldn't find me car shampoo), seems ok, I'm going to get her valeted next weekend anyway.
