My Legacy has been broken in to outside my house this morning, 3 days after getting it back from the last theft attempt (which was in Leeds). My GF disturbed them upon encountering them ona late run in from London and as a reward for this the Passat now has only half the number of windows and no clutch and is basically a write off since the Passat didn't even have Windscreen cover.

Do you have a ****ter that runs ok with a reasonable amount of MOT left on it that you need to get rid of for a low price. The last batch of car problems has pushed us close to the financial limits and we really must be mobile again by Thursday.

Unfortunately you're both a little too late. When I said urgent I really meant it :)

We got an F reg 1.8 Golf CL auto for £275 from a bloke in Slough. More than I really wanted to pay. It's not in wonderful condition (rear doors do not open from the outside, headlining is falling off at the back, but it is in far better condition than the Passat after the criminals had finished trying to kill my GF, and at least it starts and drives unlike the Legacy.
