A freind of mine constructed a temporary cover for his WRX to stop falling rocket sticks from damaging his car. We used soft cotton dust sheets in direct contact with the car and then placed a polyethene ground sheet over some cardboard boxes.
He should have taken it down after the fireworks (there were loads of them), but after a few too many beer, forgot about the car.
This morning he has server scratches to the top of the A-pillars, wind mirrors & rear wing (thats down to primer as its a cheaper after sales wing).
I have told him he should be able polish out the scuffs, as he says that the paint looks dull.
Anyone with any tips or products.......... or should he take it to a professional?
