Hi,

Our fridge seems to be see-sawing, temp. wise, a little too much. One day it'll have water drops frozen to the back wall and the next it'll be liquid water on the back wall. That's with no change in settings, seal is fine (that is, the fridge is 5 or so years old and the seal is clean) and it hasn't had the door left open. Put a thermometer in there and it does seem to vary between less than 0 deg. to about 6 deg (C that is) which would explain the water/ice. It has also been cleaned out and the freezer compartment (Bosche fridge/freezer with fridge on top) properly defrosted.

I'm thinking the thermostat could well need replacing but has anyone any other bright ideas first? (Partly 'cos I haven't figured out where the thermostat is yet ... :D )

Cheers

Dave

Does it have an air hole at the back of the fridge?

Ours got blocked and started doing the same thing??

yes it does have a hole - unblocked and no problem.
