I have a gas boiler and an electronic control on the wall in the kitchen. I got 2 buttons one for water and one for heating. Put the heating back on and find the boiler won't fire up. Went and fiddled with the thermostat control in the living room but no luck. The boiler still fires up fine for the hot water....anyone got any ideas what its likely to be ? Could it be the thermostat control is not working correctly ?

If I put on the HW and leave the heating switch on, will it do both or still only the HW ?

At least BG reckon they are coming tomorrow..........:thumb:

Sounds like it could be the motorised valve sticking.

thanx Mog for your reply. All fixed now, yeah it was something like that! the BG guy swapped it out for another one (up where the hot tank is) some ellectrical thingy and its all started working a treat! It was sure unpleasant in here today whilst working from home waiting for the engineer to turn up.

Now its bliss :D:p
