Currently in the process of building 2 subaru's for the dunlop T & R next year. 1 of the cars is a ex forest rally car which we run as it arrived last weekend in a sprint just to get an idea.
Biggest problem we both found was the steering is way too light for our liking.
Ive done a bit of searching and found a few people have removed the pump and pipe work and topped up the rack then capped it off.
Anyone tried this or had any problems?
Before everyone says the steering will be heavy please note these are dedicated race cars and for the last 5 years we have raced mk 2 escorts on 10 inch wide slicks witha 2.2 rack! You have to be doing 5mph before its physically posible to turn the wheel so we are use to heavy direct feel:norty: .
Many thanks steve.
