Just had a letter back from the A&S police re further training from the dealer seesion we did a couple of weeks ago. Not sure at the moment what form this is going to take but from the info the officers gave us, we could be looking at some instructed drives. I'll be making contact and meeting the Inspector to discuss further.

I'm guessing a bit at the mo but but hopefully we are talking maybe some instructed drives in unmarked police cars (Or our own)by fully qualified Advanced Police driving instructors.

Yep im up for a bit of that...see you all on the 2nd at the Star.

 

Just spoken to the Inspector and we are going to meet in the new year to discuss this further and move it on. There's certainly a desire to help us acheive a higher level of skill/awareness etc to become safer drivers.

Ideas that were raised were - Instructed drives with an advanced police instructor and possible use of a nearby skid pan (maybe a small charge to cover costs)
