View Full Version : Silver 16" 5 Spoke OEM "Classic" alloys with tyres

I now have new wheels and tyres and have no use for my old ones.

They are the OEM silver 5 spoke 16s off my UK MY98(R).

The condition of all four is clearly "used" although none of them are buckled
or flat spotted. They were running just fine on my car until the change to 17s
last weekend!

I have taken some pics, including some dirty and up close to try and show their
condition in as much honesty as I can. The usual tar marks but I expect something like Wonder Wheels would get that off? There is some kerbing on each with some worse than others. Also there are a number of spots where the lacquer is damaged.

The tyres are Continental ContiSportContact 205/50/16 87W. They have done less than 10k miles and as you can see from the pics there is loads of tread on them.

I am open to sensible offers. A collection would be easiest but I am happy to
arrange a courier so long as it gets factored into the price. I have asked one
courier company so far to quote going by ~15kg per wheel/tyre and they said
£50+VAT. Possibly there are cheaper options?

Any questions then drop me a line and also let me know if you need more pics.

Cheers

Come on peeps. Lots of views and no one interested? Must be of use to someone who wants to refurb and give a new lease of life to them or someone who needs a set for blasting round the track. The tyres are pretty much good as new with less than 10k miles on them which has to make them attractive to somebody?! I'm open to any reasonable offer I just want them out of the way :)

Hi wrxsti280

Thanks for the PM'd offer, but I cant reply bcs your Inbox is full!

I know I didnt suggest a price guide but I was hoping for a bit more than that.

Anyone interested in making an offer around the £100 mark?

I know the £50 for a courier is a pain in the bum! Any suggestions for a courier that will do it for less are welcome. Each wheel and tyre weighs approx 15-16kgs.

Cheers

Thanks Andygreer. Are you saying I can get the lot delivered for £25? Just looked at DHL and couldn't see any option that would get my 60kgs worth delivered for less than the £50 I have already been quoted...

I will take them:

£80 cash the 4 and will collect, preferably this friday (I'm down at API's in the morning.)

I live in Wolverhampton so close and not messing you about.
Can collect from where you live if you like.

I am assuming the wheels are true and the tyres not punctured!
