Just watched it on TV, not a very good WRC turnout but exciting event none the less :D

Shame I couldn't make it over for this one,:( but I've got the biggest deal in years going on at work, so no rest for the wicked!

Good win for Mikko :thumb: Keep in touch Mark, I'll try and make it over soon :D

G'day Chris

A good event indeed! Congrats to Mikko but great to see Petter had a good result too. Perth and WA needs high profile sports events such as this and the guy who brought this to an end is, to quote Petter in an interview yesterday, "not very clever". So true.

From an Aussie point of view it was good to see Chris Atkinson do well for most of the rally (apart from the bushfire he started:D ) and Dean Herridge too!

The next event on the calendar is the Red Bull Air Race in just under 3 weeks:D Maybe I'll get some decent photos there.

They are hard work Mark, they are moving effing quick. I tried last year and got some ok, but most were below average to poor. Its a great event though, I'm glad I went but wouldn't rush back in a hurry - I feel like I've done it now

Is the 'Quainzlernd' one in 2008 gonna be an upgrade of existing event or a new one?:wonder:

Isn't Atkinson from up there?

They're also a lot smaller than you'd give credit for - with a 300mm lens on a D70 I was suffering from dot-in-they sky syndrome, despite them being worryingly close. :D
