jac2000 21 November 2001, 18:50 Following a great afternoon lat Sunday (Burger King A1 Grantham) I offered to arrange the next Lincolnshire meet near my home town of Louth. I have a date in mind of SUN 16th December. The day will involve a meet at say 11am and a drive through the Lincolnshire Wolds for a Lunch. I will obviously confirm exact details once I know if date is ok - being near Xmas etc etc.

jac2000 30 November 2001, 23:08 Final Details For Th Meet!
Sunday 9th December.
11.30am
The Three Horseshoes
Goulceby.
Not too difficult to find - From Lincoln take A158 towards Horncastle then onto B1225 (left) and then a right down to the small village of Goulceby - please look at a map and then it will all make sense! There are of course many more scenic routes. You cant miss the pub in Goulceby once there.
Have just tested the Helal Tandoori on a take away - pretty good. Anyway they recommend booking as its a pretty popular place - even on a Sunday.
I have in hand a nice route to take us there - obviously not the most direct! So if you fancy a steady pootle through the countryside and a curry let me know so I can tell Mr Bhuna numbers -please also confirm guys those who said yes already.
Have replaced Nitro burner with a home made nuclear fusion device so there is no need to worry this time!
Hope to see you there.
John

stephen emery 03 December 2001, 18:50 any others
just putting post back to top realy!
Stevie B 04 December 2001, 18:39 11:30 sounds good to me, probably will not be up for the curry though as I will need to get back to Northapmton at some point during the day.
Still will not have the big wing on. Being fitted Monday (bummer). Looks like a P1 flavour though, as I have seen the bits.
Then the car will then be complete (for now).
Will be back again around xmas, so will have to show it off then!
Stevie B
jac2000 04 December 2001, 23:37 Glad to see a few of us intrested then. Kevin - you on for the curry?
Just a minor point guys - call me paranoid if you like - but keep it steady through Goulceby - nuf said.
Thought we would aim for curry in Louth for 1.30 ish Will book on Friday - so if anyone else out there fancies this trip let me know - ALL WELCOME!
The tel No for 3 Horseshoes is 01507 343610 in case you get lost - as my Orange dont work too well down there.
See Ya Soon
John

Kevin
Stevie B 07 December 2001, 12:27 Steve,
Yes, we could meet up in Lincoln Sunday morning. I will actually be based in North Hykeham, so not far from the bypass.
May just pop over to say hello and shoot off again like last time I am affraid. We have friends down from Newcastle and it would seem a bit rude of me to bugger off.
My mobile is 07788 436301, so give us a call to finalise if you like.
Cheers,
Stevie B

Will be back for 2-3 days following Boxing day, maybe we could arrange a beer at the Pyewipe, easy to get to, 1/2 mile 'rally' road, nice bridge to go under and make some noise, big gravel car park????
