I know this question has been asked loads of times but i'm going to ask it again..
I have a classic 98 sti with the double din stereo in and im wanting to change it to a single alpine, is this going to be an easy job?? and also where is the best place to get a tray to fill the gap that will be there??
Thanks

Halfrauds for a fascia adapter shoul cost you under £20, can't remember how much!
Or you could go a breakers and get a Din sized tray, so you have your CD player then a tray underneath for CDs
Although they fly out of mine when I boot it, end up everywhere!

Subaru dealer for mine, about £16 for the Sport/GX pocket.

I tried Autoleads and the Forester pocket before opting for the Subaru CD Holder. It is fitted to a 05MY STI and can be fitted the opposite way around, I just prefer it this way. :)

Must admit the way Colzo has installed his head unit is probably the best way to go. I have my head unit on top but i am unable to see all the controls as they are blocked by the steering wheel, but i can see the autoleads pocket clearly. I am going to change this around when i get chance.

You`re right Steve, the Stereo is much easier to control and view in this postion. :thumb:
