Crikey! Guys! i have a lot to live upto then?

i will arrange a route and security checks will be made for all members. I would like to remind all, that cameras are NOT essential as they make everyone look like tourists!!!! HA HA!

Cant wait now!! Where's banshi? he's a brum chap?

do i need to find a eatery sort of place for all the troffers?

As kev sed earlier, Bouncers for some crazy reason in brum love turning people away! EGO BOOSTS EH?
therefore, trousers, shirt, shoes, wallets, co**oms and sick bags are all necessary for a succesful nite!

:::::::Members Rules:::::::

Disclaimer: These rules are not specifically designed for use with alcoholic drinks. Don't drink alcohol unless you are over the legal age.

Beer or cider is drunk from a pint glass, cocktails or spirits from glass given.
Standard definition of a pint = 8 fingers
Fines are halved for spirits and cocktails

I will appoint a chair - Maybe mellow?? He will keep his beedy eyes to make sure no one is strayin from the rules! The chair’s word is final!

If any rules are broken, it will result in downing 2 fingers of a pint. 1 finger for spirits. This will double if any member argues the punishment.

If any member repeat offends, the punishment can be manufactured on the night!

Rules apply until 11pm - simply because there are lady's to be sortin out! aye!

Left hand drinking at all times!
No pointing to any other members!
Every hour the chair will select a word that no members can repeat!
On the hour the chair will nominate the soberist to down their drink - This woz donated by 172jon!

All members have to chip in with buying a reward pint or drink

Rewards are given for any member bringing lovely lady’s into the group

Please feel free to either add or comment on these conditions – I don’t want to do to much cos I’m generally rubbish at remembering these rules myself.

Get it down you zulu warrior, get it down you zulu chief, chief, cheif!!!!
Pete, drinking games sounds good to me. I agree that Mellow should be the 'chairman' - every hour the chairman has to nominate the most soberest person, who then has to finish their drink. Left hand drinking, no pointing, thumb master & freeze master sounds good too!
I think we should start in the Figure of Eight - might be a bit of a dive, but it's cheap - £2.50ish for a double vodka & redbull. Then once we've got a fair few drinks down us we should head somewhere a bit more stylish - I'll leave that to you Pete.
I personally can't wait to see Charlie Whiskey shaking his booty on a podium in The Works!

See you soon,

Jon

enough wanna be pimps operate on Broad Street with Scooby's crawling along trying to pull girls....

I suppose it was bound to happen with the demography of Subaru owners changing as they are now as cheap as you like.

I would try somewhere else...

pedr1co,

aw, c'mon!!

...aren't co-drivers supposed to stay awake???

Talking of falling asleep, it reminds me of a certain "member" who nearly fell into his curry (i think we had curry ) at last year's bash!!!

Don't forget, we need a pub with a driving game, way too much beer, backstage passes to any clubs with big queues and a hotel with a bar that stays open until breakfast!!!!

Curry ???

Falling asleep ???

I don't remember that ??? (maybe I was asleep)

Just in case somebody above mis-understands the reason for visiting broadstreet... it is purely for drinking...the scoobys are left at home tucked up in bed.

Matt,
You might be up for this one, but there's no way Gemma will let you out for the night.
She knows you can't be trusted after 2 pints of Scrumpy Jack!

Having heard stories of last years bash this weekend courtesy of Kev and Mr Whiskey, I'm up for a **** up.

Brum is ideal as I can can get the train down and leave the Scooby snug and safe in the garage.

I think Mr Askew was up for a huuuuuuuge session as well.

I'm up for this, last year's was the first time I met other Scoobynetters.
Are we going to have enough warning to book a hotel room?
Cheers,
Martin.

Question

pedr1co - where are you???

To get you started, i suggest we make it a Saturday night, so peeps don't have trouble getting there (and because we want, er need, to start drinking early!).

Thus we are talking the 8th, 15th or 22nd.

The first date is rather soon, and the latter is jolly close to Crimbo, so how does Saturday the 15th December sound to everyone???

Last year we stayed at a local hotel with fully secure parking - i guess we need to check with WALKER as to whether it is still suitable (and can we get those same pissed up girls in the bar again?)

Anyway, i'll leave the rest to this years official event organiser!!

There is no way I'm bothering to take the motor this timewhen I get free 1st class rail travel!

8th is possible @ the moment but I may be working
15th I am at Bill Gwyn's so I don't know what time I could get there.
22nd is definitely out! TSL 'do' & working nights in Stevenage

I will definitely be pacing myself better this year

Is there a Holiday Inn nearby so I can use my points?

Chris

Ooops! i think i've been a little too cool for this organising lark!

Ok saturday 15th sounds perfect for most peeps. everywhere on broad st is pretty cool now as a lot more bars have opened and we have just had the best & largest pulling club in brum just opened!!! THE WORKS! however i know the general managers at some places so will try an get some freebees etc and possbly a cheap rate to a club!

I still say no one can beat whetherspoons?

So if we can have official numbers for the 15th then we can go from there! i suggest 730/8pm start in the figure of eight. i will brief everyone on their safety, conditions & Drinking rules! the international variety.

now i'm rarely on the internet so could i be cheaky boomer and ask u to contact me updates 0787 084 0625 orange or 0776 0175 504 vodafone.

cheers guys

Pete

Boomer,
have you booked into a hotel? Can you let me know where as I'll need to book ASAP to guarantee a room.
Cheers,
