I used to live just down the road from Waterford. Beautiful country and excellent driving.
One tip when driving over there. The roads are wider than ours here and drivers just pull over to let you buy when you are coming up behind them ,so just pass and put your hazards on to say thanx.
Down in Waterford you won't see many police (Garda) on the roads but there will be a few around about in Dublin. Depending on which route you take to dublin ,its a fantastic drive if you go through Wexford ,Gorey etc. And if you go through Wexford and through a small village called Castlebridge, thats where I lived.

some of the roads are not as tidy as ours there alot rougher with dips and pot holes been over a few times and you can have a good blast theres a line like a hard shoulder on the side of the road when u come up behind a car or lorry they pull over so you can pass a flash of the indecators as a thanks and away u go

Richie remeber to take lots of Octane booster! No SUL in the emerald Isle I've been told. Have a look at the SIDC True Grip newsletters for some tips.
