I’m trying to decide upon flooring to have in my dining room & study.
So far I have decided against carpet and wood flooring as I can foresee the wood flooring getting very scratched.
So this has lead me to Porcelain flooring, has anyone got this type of flooring in there house?
What if any are the problems with it? I can imagine it being slippery when wet.

Also I need to build the flooring up by 18mm, most tiles are between 10-12mm that I’ve seen as far so what could I use as a type of underlay? The floor is concrete on a slight angle.

Or can anyone suggest a flooring ?

what about a stone floor ,it would also bring your levels up at the same tim e.
and you can put electric underfloor heating directly under it;)
