my mrs has just had a cluctch fitted to her 96/97 golf 1.6"r" reg
and the gash ******** have broken the wiring plug for the speed sensor so she has no speedo.
there are 3 wires going to it brown, black and white with a blue trace, i need to no what order they go in,
so if all you golf owners could have a look on yours and tell it would be much appreciated.
so we all no if u satnd on the passenger side and look under the bonnet u will see the sensor on top of the gear box (dont get confused with the reverse light switch, it only has 2 wires)

Excellant thanks Pa! Enjoying cheap motoring in the golf although have been toying with idea of going back to a finance free sport. Prob not though we will see.:)
