has anyone had problems with a pioneer avic x1 havent used the sat nav for a while went to use it the other day and it doesnt work. The radio and cd work fine but sat nav it says insert disc which i have done it then comes up with inaproaite disc any help please

 

I asked my mate who has one and he offers this:-
"I only get it on very cold damp mornings, disc gets condensation on it and unit fails to read it - i just take the disc out, wipe it and pop it back in."

He also said a dodgy disk will do the same, be it scratched or whatever.
