Looking at your gallery, you might consider an EF 85 f1.8 (http://www.photozone.de/8Reviews/lenses/canon_85_18/index.htm), great for portraits and a bargain too.

The 24-105L is a good all-rounder though and will give you more flexibility, albeit at nearly 3 times the price. :)

Yep another vote for kerso, got my new lens from him, he provides a good service and not at a bad price either :)
