the left wa is a bit pants, only had time to brush it daown today after getting the metal shelves out, other side of it is next doors and they have painted it, i'm going to have to use some stableizing solution on the wall first before its painted, rafter are quite new and the ends are coated with what looks like bitcho......... btw, i'm a decorator by trade so know what to do ;) lol

Thats good.... i wasn't trying to tell anyone what to do, the rafters just looked a tad odd.... but if it's bitchumin it's clearly not an issue is it....:thumb:

lol, the builder said they don't ut rafters in the block work anymore just incase they rot, hence in the back 'den' there fitted on a batton instead.

new houses these days, car are bigger butthey build smaller!!

this place we got is 1910 or there abouts.. the garage is about 1-1/2 size, now its stripped out of all the DIY style shelves and work tops the place seems massive, i think I will get both the ROADSTER AND THE 4/2 SMART in there lol.. no problem.

Just hoping all the walls will be dry for saturday as i want to spray the whole place out... ceilings and walls... them when the electricians finished I'LL DO THE FLOOR.. Green with anti-slip agregate in it.. just to be on the safe side, I'd hate to slip over while i'm filling neons to the cars LOL

the last three days I've been spraying, first couple of coats made up of odds and sods of spare paint then today (saturday) I've fetched 4x10litre tubs of Gliddens Contract matt emulsion in magnolia, this has been srayed using a fine finish spray tip (as it won't put too much paint on in one go, giving a 'mist' of a covering coat)
sunday I'l gove it all one more coat (so its had 4 in total) and see what the new bare block work looks like, if it needs another it'll have to have it. big problem I'm having is having not power for lights in there or heat to get it dry. I'm relying on the air to get things dry :(

Look at the bottom of this page for 'Roller Garage Doors' in the Google ads, Lakeside Security, give them a call and ask for 'Sharon' and tell her Nathan from Essex said she would do a good deal ;)
