STi-Frenchie 14 October 2006, 16:28 Certainly different I'd say:thumb: Just wondering what the first one would look like with the car colours and the rest of the shot in b/w.
Are the two red lights (which I can't seem to take my eye off) a reflection or something on the car itself. Love the Vantage, I see a couple of them around Geneva and they're always spotless and the sound is just great!
Mogsi 14 October 2006, 16:33 Ohhh one of my favourite cars, lovely... 3rd pictures does it for me
missyc 14 October 2006, 18:44 ooohhh :D
'specially love the 3rd pic
(maybe consider removing the larger of the 2 red reflections and the white one? look like refletions of brake lights and a reversing light? smaller reflections are fine)
V nice
drb5 14 October 2006, 18:56 I was hoping to see the older version, but lovely shots.
Daryl 14 October 2006, 19:22 Your sensor needs cleaning! ;)
Dave_68 14 October 2006, 20:03 Nice one Matt, great shots :thumb:

Daz34 15 October 2006, 07:57 I bet it sounded good in that car park :)

mneame 15 October 2006, 21:21 Hi Guys,
Yes the are reflections. Not had time to take them out of the shot yet. Will be doing so shortly and Sti-Frenchie there will be a version with the car in colour and the rest black and white. Only thing is the car is a graphite grey colour but the reflective colours and rear lights should do the trick.
Dare i say it but that's the car that was dirty rather than the sensor  My mate only had the car for a couple of days. Tough life he has. It was a thank you for some work that he's doing on a magazine. He should be getting a bentley continental gt and a lambo gallardo next week. was due to get a merciallgo (sp) but someone stacked it
Dave - only bought a £7.99 mount out of maplins so far. Not as sturday as yours but i managed to get these and a few other shots. The suspension is so stiff on the aston that these were shot on about iso 1600 at 1/4 sec. anything less and they were just too blurred.
Did someone mention the noise of it? i nearly wet myself. the noise is just incredible. To give an idea of how loud it was, we took the aston and my scooby out to the esc meet the other night and had a little play on the way home. first 2 years to the shift light. well i could hear the aston over the scooby and i had the windows shut!!!
Gutman pug - which aston is that?
mneame 15 October 2006, 21:44 here you go Sti-frenchie, a quick go.

STi-Frenchie 15 October 2006, 21:58 That looks lovely mneame :thumb::thumb:
mneame 15 October 2006, 22:00 cheers. :thumb:
when i have more time i'll do it a little better. there are some good colours in the background where the hid lights are reflecting. may pic out the yellow of the parking bays or get rid of them altogether. not sure yet. what do you think?
STi-Frenchie 15 October 2006, 22:07 Not sure really, maybe crop out the main overhead lights and work on the rest of the pic? I see what you mean about the colour of the car and b/w. Still, gorgeous piece of machinery eh? :)
mneame 15 October 2006, 22:26 the lights are very bleached out so they could go which would make the image a bit better. i may just bring the rear lights in colour?
it is a very nice piece of kit. would love a black one.
Gutmann pug 16 October 2006, 19:53 mneame its this one. Brand new V8 I think

mneame 16 October 2006, 20:33 looks like the v8 to me :thumb:
lightning101 16 October 2006, 21:09 What you need to do is add a black and white gradient layer over the top of the colour one then mask and delete the car from the B&W one to have proper black and white with colour.:thumb:
mneame 16 October 2006, 22:02 :thumb:
jjones 16 October 2006, 23:32 very nice car and some nicely taken shots.
shame the car wasn't a brighter colour as the first picture with colour car and B&W background would have been awesome.
mneame 17 October 2006, 21:08 cheers.
getting a lambo gallardo to take some shots of tonight :norty: shot will work well with that one.
