Miss Pitstop 17 October 2006, 13:04 Except I'm not doing the accomodation, I'm thinking more of sleeping in the car - if the organisers let you. (I've not been to Rally GB since 2002).
I'm travelling down on Thursday to watch the start, then staying down there until Sat pm then travelling home.
Any recommendation of the stages to watch??
Stringpants 17 October 2006, 16:37 I am probably doing Resolfen(2 & 5) Friday and Halfway(9 & 12) on Saturday then Sunday its down to Service for a scooby meet...special parking etc with the SIDC.
Let me know if any of this suits.
Russ.

ricardo_wrx 02 November 2006, 17:18 Driving down Thursday night. Staying in Maesteg. Going to Port Talbot, Crychan & Millenium Stadium. More info on the Scoob meet on Sunday please?????? :wonder:
big_sw2000 02 November 2006, 17:42 Do you think there is enough time to watch both stages at Crychan, then get to Millenium Stadium. As it starts about 5pm

you will be pushing it + traffic will be bad in cardiff and carparking can be a pain in the rear.
Scudie 06 November 2006, 18:43 Always worked on rally in the past, watched a little when i could but doin it full on this year with full pass and millenium (me and favourite son). Going to shakedown thurs and start in evening. Hopeing to catch 2 stages friday, 1 stage + service + millenium on saturday as 2 stages will be pushing it. 2 stages or 1 stage and finish on sunday depending on state of tiredness. Overnight parking in forest all weekend.

SIDC meeting at service park about 08:00 ish not sure how much tickets are.
The SIDC Club are proud and privileged to have been invited to this prestigous WRC Rally. We have secured a Club Stand area in the Swansea service area for the Sunday only.
A provision for 50 cars has been given.
The Club area is open to SIDC Members Only.
An SIDC car pass will be issued and this will entitle a car to be parked on the club stand in the service area @ the Wales Rally GB. You will be parking alongside the Rally cars and their teams.
An exclusive opportuntity for thousands of rally fans to see your pride and joy.
Terry Buckel and Stormy have kindly offered their help at this show, and will be the SIDC's Representatives on the day. Terry is also involved with the SIDC organisation, so any questions please contact Terry or myself.
What's on:
