How old is the vehicle?

It COULD be a poor earth problem: check earthing points and tightness of battery + and -.

Do BOTH lights dim at the same time? How's your battery? get it, and the alternator checked by an auto electrician.

Check connections to the lights.

Can you make it do it when the car is at rest, but engine running? I'd be inclined to check with a voltmeter what's happening, but it's likely to be a poor connection somewhere.........get it found. Poor connection = overheating = possible fire:eek:

you could have a dodgy voltage regulation module. Cheapest thing would be to replace the alternator.

But is the dimming coming in when you have Fans/heated screen/aircon on??
