If its any help I too was looking at these two options (the Billies with rally heritage interested me). In the end I chose to go with a workshop with a good reputation in the Scoob community and proven race experience - hence Powerstation and the ASTs 3 ways.

Powerstation stopped using Bilstein in favour of AST.

Are the AST full coilovers you got ? If so are they very hard on the road ?

Yes the ASTs are coilovers

I chose the 3 way adjustable and Curtis at Powerstation fitted 50/60 springs based on my intended use (track days and sprints).

You have 12 steps of adjustment on the damping but even on soft the car is very hard. If you wanted a softer ride just explain the sort of use you want of the car and they will fit a lower rate spring set.

I live in N Yorks and if I was only using the car for the road I would have chosen softer springs - having said that when you want to concentrate on a fast drive the car is awesome.

Cheers Dave. Worth thinking about so.
