Are there any Scooby drivers left around here?
It's gone quiet recently, have they changed to the dark side?.

Wheres Julian these days?

There are loads of Scooby drivers / owners left around here, in fact I would probably say more now than there was previously

there are at least 5 or 6 different ones (probably more) go past my house most nights of the week, and I hear plenty on the link road too (btw its not a private road that one :) )

Once upon a time there used to be several meets, the Micklehead, Walton Arms, and even dare I say it the Wiggan Tree

However no one can be bothered going anymore it would seem, Julian's last few attempts at arranging the micklehead meets seemed to have fell on deaf ears

so the only one I know about now is the SMACS meets that they have

Thanks for the reply Sonic.
I couldn't get to the last couple at the Micklehead due to family commitments.

Do you think it might be worth trying a Sunday afternoon meet at a family friendly pub or picnic area before winter really gets in?

possible venues:-
Walton Hall gardens, (Warrington)
New Brighton prom,
Shirdley Park, (St.Helens)
Spike Island, (Widnes)

:Suspiciou

Some good suggestions there Big G, makes it more likely that we (Sonic and I) will be able to make it :) Although my son can get very agitated etc, so would have to warn you in advance that he may not behave appropriately :| (has problems)

Would be nice to have the odd afternoon out on a weekend :thumb:

What does anyone else think? :D

Maybe Julia could bring his ickle girl too :D She can play with my youngest :thumb:

Hehe, it's ok, was almost on the verge of a tumbleweed there  :lol1:

YW, and she looked stunning to me :D Not seen a bug in that colour before. I will pop over if I'm not rushing to get the kids in :thumb:

Just promise you won't run away when you see a stressed crazy mother walking towards you with eye bags and no make up and three noisy little ones :lol1:

Its not the first time at playgroup a crazed mother has come running at me....lol

Try and come over to the CADS meet sometime we meet on Sunday afternoon and theres a few kids from 4-14 years their, so the kids keep amused.

:eek2: You often get crazed mothers running at you then?

I'm not crazed, just a little stressed in the morning from trying to get three kids out the door, fed, and dressed with no messing, screaming or fighting - by the time I get to school I am just about at the end of my tether :freak3:

If I spot you in the yard again, I may pop and say hello :D And I will have a better look at your car too :o :p :D :lol1:

I have a STI8 in Blue, just finally got the documents to put my number plate on. But it was on a 53 plate last week.

I have seen a new Blue WRX and a Purple'ly classic (looked nice) and that's about it so far. What do you have Jaydut?

Will hopefully see you around. :)

Well when I first picked it up I was a bit disappointed, didn't handle well and was a bit dull on turn in. So I was sort thinking "what have I done here, I don't like it" Until I broke out the footpump and the tyre gauge and put 6psi into the front tyres....Can't believe the garage did not check them...

Now I LOVE IT!!!! That's why I got it, it is like having a completely different car on the drive really chuffed with it now. :thumb:

LOL I have just ordered 4 new Toyo's from Mytyres today as the backs are just above the marker. I will get who ever fits them to check the front pads as I think they are in the "replace" zone as well. Can't quite judge peering through the wheels.

I did try and get the dealer to replace the back ones, but that was one discussion I was loosing. :)
