Steve777 03 October 2006, 23:26 Probably on TV :) SPEN555 03 October 2006, 23:47 Go hide in the forests now and surface when the rally starts :D Dandaman 04 October 2006, 18:30 Go to the opening ceremony in cardiff, afterwards you can go into town and have a couple of stella's. theboy 04 October 2006, 19:36 :luxhello: :luxhello: I was expecting a comment regarding the tv, but the one about hiding now has amused me.:luxhello: CraigMac 04 October 2006, 23:00 Probably on TV :) What channel covers the wrc now ??? Optical Race 04 October 2006, 23:29 its been on ITV a few times lately :) ZeroRisk 05 October 2006, 10:06 ITV and Eurosport show programs but they're usually the same. The 3 day program is the best fix of Rally action although it's still only an hour long or so... :( macattac 05 October 2006, 12:20 If you've got a day spare, why not register as a marshall, and sign up to marshall a stage for the day? Yo'll get to see 2 runs through the stage, as well as drive it to get to your post, and you'll be giving something back to the sport. Everyone's a winner. DanTheMan 05 October 2006, 12:47 Pedestrian access to the Forest has always been free, just get yourself a decent OS map and make use of public footpaths & bridleways that criss cross the area. Then sleep over in some B+B in Llandovery then up early doors to watch Sundays rallying .... Let us know if you are up for it ... wrx_yank 08 October 2006, 17:56 when does the rally take place and where... im new to rally, and england itself...(american) and i will be there flying in as of tues morning the 10th... i would like to make it out to watch the rally..... i have a phoographer friend from Subysport mag that is going aND supposed to be getting me passes but who knows maybe i could roll with you fellas if you dont mind me tagging along!!!!!!!!!! theboy 08 October 2006, 21:21 I will have a think about it, i was going down with my brother. We have a house down there that we can use but i think its too far south as its in Llanelli. If we do decide to go he will be paying half towards the fuel!!!! Would we need to book a B&B or are we going to take a risk and try on the day. If so i might take a sleeping bag just in case. How many folk are thinking of going from Halifax and are they all SCoobys??? macattac 20 October 2006, 22:45 The Boy. Llanelli is 30mins drive from most of the stages. (not accounting for traffic) And 1hr from Cardiff at legal speeds. It's not a bad base. |
