View Full Version : A plan rule!!
T5OLF 03 October 2006, 16:05 My insurance is due in 2 days, my current company want £950 with mods, up from £680 with no mods.
Called A plan today and have just paid £423 with all mods(ecu, alloys, front mount, decat system, AVC-R etc, etc) :luxhello:
10 years no claims, 38 years old, garaged, cat1, TS 20/3 points.
Well pleased, thanks A plan.
TYPE20 03 October 2006, 20:13 May be an idea to check that if you have an accident all the mod's are replaced like-for-like. I had a quote from A-Plan this week on a type 25, they were the cheapest, but mod's were not covered like-for-like, only replaced with standard parts.

similar details to me , cept im 36 , never claimed, past test at 17
the rest is similar,ie garaged,cat 1 , 3 points
did they ask you for your BHP ?
if so, what is it please ?
i'm with a different company and pay a bit more than you but it's renewal time in december :norty:
T5OLF 03 October 2006, 20:46 Not really bothered about that to be honest, just wanted the car covered with mods in case of accident. I have 3 cars to tax and insure so it needs to be cheap.
I know what your saying but it's a risk i'm willing to take.

Yes they did ask, I quoted 320 bhp which is somewere near for the mods I have, so Andy F said when he mapped it.
