Looking at buying the Syper 2 calibration kit as my prints aren't even slightly close to what i see on the screen. Ive read it calibrates your monitor and printer.
So has anyone tried it and does it really work?

Yes, I have 1 and it works a treat for the screen. The printer ones aren't cheap though.
Way round the printers is I started using illford paper, they have downloadable calibrated settings for virtually every printer.
Infact my prints look better sometimes than they do on screen!!!!

I found the Express (monitor only) for £70 and the suite (monitor and printer) for £120 which I thought wasnt too bad. Cant really afford it but cant find anyone local to me that I can borrow one of...lol
Still Id imagine if it does what it says on the tin it will be a useful gadget.

I use one and find it very accurate, for the prints I send to the lab.
I make sure that the files are in SRGB working space which is the same working space as what the lab print to.
So therefore I can be 99% confident that what I see on screen will be reproduce accuratly on print.
If you are saving files for repro purposes I generally export files to Adobe RGB 1998 profile.

I use a Gretag Macbeth Eyeone Display calibration eye, and it works well for me. Very simple to set up and use, shows before and after, and simply does the job its designed for well.

Just don't click on those tabs, they crashed IE7 for me. I found quite a few bugs in RC1 I ended up removing it.
