There's a promotion running now where you get a free copy of Capture One LE with every Sandisk Extreme III card - but only if you buy a card that comes in the specially marked packaging. The promotional cards were released a few weeks ago and haven't necessarily reached retailers yet. Looks like I have a counterfit Sandisk ultra 2 (2GB):( (Bought from Ebay)Also got stung on Ebay last week with genuine region one DVD that didnt work after chapter 45 . That place is becoming a minefield .

I have a counterfeit Ultra II 2Gb sandisk as well.

I filed a complaint against the buyer and Paypal refunded me. I kept the card which is still a 2gb card...

I don't suppose anyone's actually managed to find this offer available from any retailer in the UK? I've drawn a complete blank so far :(

I've been looking Andy and not managed to find a site that mentions the offer (bar people reproducing the press release).

I did get an email back from one supplier stating that the offer (in the UK?) is due to start on Oct 16th - might be worth waiting a couple of weeks to see what happens than.

I saw that the offer is starting on 16th Oct today too.. was an official PDF from Phase One or Scandisk website, can't remember which.

Pic stop have just reduced the prices on their Scandisk CF cards today too.. Extreme III 1Gb now just £27.
