I know a few people are interested in going to Jap Fest 2 at Donnington, so I thought it might be good to organise a group visit.

We are going but coming from southward direction, since this is my first Scooby it would be nice to see other Scoobies & other Jap cars altogether, should be fun, well thats how I have sold it to SWMBO. :)

M1 would be a better place for me to meet you as i am only 5 mins from J30, so that would be better for me

Yeah sounds good mate. What route do you think we should take? The most direct route would be to shoot down the A46 to Saxondale roundabout, then around the Notts ring road onto the A453, hop over the M1 and your there

or

Tank over towards Mansfield on the new MARR A38 then drop down the M1.

I suppose it depends if we have any other people wanting to meet along the way?

Is security a problem at Donnington??? I heard they had few motors nicked from Santa Pod at the last Jap show. Turned up with a flat bed posing as AA men and just picked the car up, disabled tracker and alarm, then drove off with people watching! Nobody said anything as they were looking like they were taking it away to be fixed!:eek: Ba**ards!

I will be there about 12 ish as i have to work in the morning.
Donington does have a bit of a problem at big car/bike meets.

maybe we should take it in shifts to baby sit the cars?:(

we will all be in the same boat mate. at the end of the day parking anywhere is a risk.

Down A46 to Nottingham then A453 to Donnington.

Setting off from newark, mansfield, m1 junction 28, on to trowel to meet others see you all there

was a good day i went around 3 to tax my car also had a play on the grass
locked the diff and off i went :) all over the place

The bug eye with the morette lights? I did smile, but the darkened windows didnt help in the heavy rain. Much fun was had pulling dounuts on the slippy grass. Andy did you get any video of mine?
