I have been watching this all day, very strange to say the least

You cannot get on to bid, it just throws you out, all you get is the below

'This listing is restricted to pre-approved bidders or buyers only'

did anyone see this ?

ebay is full of these scams.

The silly low buy it now price is the usual first give away. Dunno why the scammers don't make it just 'cheap' not silly. They'd prob get more interest :D

Once you realise these are scams you'll notice ebay is literally full of them.

The account will belong to someone else, scammer gets their password (usually via deception email pretending to be ebay) logs onto their account, sets an ad (as above) puts their own email address in the listing stating to contact them direct etc.

Once you do it'll go along the lines of.. "money needed up front via western union money transfer" or similar

Take a look at the repsonse I have just received from the finance house who were named as the people who could close the deal.
