Jessops have one at £469.99 I can walk in and buy, this is cheaper than warehouse express. Pixmania are dearer again.

It does on mine as well. What I mean is when you go to pay you are tranferred through canons own payment system, which I trust more than paypal.

Although you still get a 1 year warranty with 'refurbished', £50 more means I get brand new, unscratched and I casn walk in today.

I have the same lens .... you wont be disappointed.

i may have a voucher at home for this lens. will check tonight. when i bought my 30d a couple of months it came with a voucher booklet. i'm extremly unlucky to use the voucher so if it's for this lens you are welcome to it. someone might as well use it. don't link it's out of date or specific to the serial number for my 30d body.

Bugger, shame I didn't see this sooner, you could have tried a guy called Kerso on this site - http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=64418 he seems to be well known and a trusted seller.

I asked him for a price on a Canon 70-200 F4 lens a few months ago now, which was £390 + £10 postage at the time, but decided to wait for the 70-300mm IS lenses to get fixed as I needed the extra reach. I ended up getting it from the above guy, he provides a great service, great gear and a good price.

I now have a brand new 70-300mm IS lens (new serial number batch so previous blur problem fixed) probably before I would be able to get one over here (he sends them from the US to family here in the UK then his family sends them out.

But I guess this is all a bit late now if you have ordered one! Might be handy should you ever need any more camera bits. :)

I have a voucher booklet but the EF 70-200 F4 L is not in there. The only L lens listed are the EF 300mm 4L, the EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L, and the EF 17-40mm 4L..

Vouchers run till the end of year..

70-200 f4 L was in last year, it's not in this year's booklet

Right had a play with the new L lense, only handheld messing about, but I am very happy with the purchase, roll on track days and safari park days :thumb:
