Quite a nice place to pootle round on yer mountain bike , stopping every now and then to take a pic , first time I had ever seen a red squirrel never mind photographed one in the wild , loads of Badgers as well , but they never come out through the day , which is a shame as I would love to get to photograph them . If you ever get the chance to go , take it up , its quite good for wildlife snapping :thumb:

I see lots of red squirrels where I live, usually the cute little beggars are running across the road in some sort of "dare" game. Some nice shots there kbsub :thumb:

Thanks :D

I like the mushroom one as well , Not sure why though its a very simple pic.
I seemed to have got in the habit of shooting wide open most of the time , just to get nice boke... sorry background blur ;) dont know if its a bad thing , but I just love to see it in my pictures these days . even thinking of swapping the EFS 17-85mm for a EFS 17-55mm F/2.8 to get even more blur

Do you have a 50mm f/1.8? I think you'd really love the results

I got THIS (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Canon-Digital-Rebel-Field-Guide/dp/0764588133/sr=8-1/qid=1158687448/ref=pd_ka_1/202-7470385-4398207?ie=UTF8&s=gateway) book when I got my 350D, fantastic read, very easy to understand and full of nice colour pictures :D

The tutorials on THIS (http://www.photoworkshop.com/canon/index.html) website are very good and well worth watching.

Oh and this forum is pretty good from time to time ;)

Enjoy the camera...
