Did my first bike track day last week with Ron haslams school at donnington, absolutely fantastic. Instructors were superb and i learnt a lot, would reccomend it to anyone. It beat any track day ive done in a car by miles.

Donnington Rocks.....even if i have crashed there...twice:nono:
Haven't heard the best reports about Haslams race school i.e. instructors not really interacting much etc, just been a poor/expensive track day.
Glad someones said something different.
Whats the layout of the day, track time etc?

It was a half a day with 3, 20-25min minute, track sessions with instruction inbetween. This is on the 600's. If you do the fireblades you get an extra session or 2. I went with a friend who's been going for a few years and apparently I had one of the better instructors who is a bit more interested than others but i found them all very friendly.

you dont learn much on a track day to many distractions i think, iv just done knockhill with the super bike school and i learned a lot all of which i can use on the road and track 300 pound well spent all on your own bike , dont worry your not supposed to be balls out just 80% - spend your money at a school im sure you will love the education il be back next year for level 3 rian or shine .:thumb:
