But i have to say considering the location, and the species, im well chuffed ! :)

Taken with the 20d 100-400 with 1.4tc hand held ! (Falcon is about 200-250m away and 380 feet up)

Taken with my brothers Meade ETX70 telescope and deep sky imaging camera ! LOL never thought it would work, its a bit ropey but it worked !

Ian, you might be able to do something with the first one using Photoshop's Highlight and Shadow command. Do you still have the RAW file or if not, a high quality jpeg version?

erm...yeah, 2nd one is, as you say, a bit ropey :)

At least you managed to get shots of the falcon, the buzzards round my way are very hard to shoot but then again I usually see them when I don't have my SLR with my and my little Sony would just make specks out of them :)

Yeah still have the raw file, will have to try and do soemthing with, im trying to locate a friendly person who will lend me a 600L ;) or i have a friend with a Sigma 800mm i may have to gently persuade ! ;)

Yes, thats a Peregrine. Lovely birds and rare, only ever seen 2 in my life.

Yes is a Peregrine, i have a pair breeding very close to me !
