Hi

Does anyone know of any decent motorbike hiring outfits in the South East, preferably close to Maidenhead?

Looking to head down to Cornwall for a week with the family but fancy biking it down there. After something half decent (ie., CBR 600RR, Z1000, BMW 850 etc..) not a dull 400/500 tin pot.

Any pointers would be much appreciated.

I tried Hexagon, but they only had a CB500 at the London office, and it was a bit old.

Raceways had a great selection, but because I want to hire from a Saturday they would have to charge a week _+ weekend hire, which works out at mega bucks.

Does anyone know anywhere else please?

It might be a bit far out for you but Bournemouth Motorcycle Hire have GSXR's, Blades etc for hire. You'll find them at:

Thanks for the details, looks like a good place. I've managed to book one now though through "About Town" hire, which were really great! They allowed me to hire on the Saturday and return on the following Saturday at the same time. Other hirers were very iffy about cutting into two weekends!

I ended up hiring a CBR600RR in the end for around £360. Can't wait now :)
