I know most people use RG59 for CCTV, but stupidly i've just spent 2 days wiring up spme cameras with a load of RG62 cable i aquired from a mate only to be told by someone that it wont work as the ohms are different.

Anyone know if I have just wasted my time or not lol??????

How long are the cable runs? I'm not familiar with RG62 , so what impedance is it..?
RG 59 is 75 Ohm.

If the cable length isn't too far then you should be ok.

93 ohms apparently and the longest cable run is about 35 metres.
