Think I'm improving my technique now and very pleased with some of these pics. Not been cropped yet either.

Nice,
I see from your pics Dave Appleby (Local guy) came out to play for Rally Day in his WRC Impreza (NT53 SRT), last seen not that long ago in the hands of Mr Solberg back on Rally GB in 2004.

Below was Dave's very first trip out in that car, Tour of Cornwall 2006. From what I gather it was delivered by prodrive to him on the morning of scrutineering for the Tour, hence no graphics etc.

Tell me about it but at least the wasps were not a problem this year. Not much fun driving back with all that standing water and spray

Not only that, but in one photo (the muddy one) it looks left hand drive, and in the other it looks right hand drive!!

Well spotted Mr Young. The car was converted to a RHD for a UK market. Most if not all WRC's run LHD. I guess when you are paying big bucks for a WRC as a privateer you'd want the steering wheel on your prefered driving side:D
I think in the "muddy" shot the window seal had somehow come out, and that is the buldge you see. Maybe Phil Mills was giving the pacenotes out a bit quick and generating too much heat and causing the seal to buldge:D
