With persistant temps ~30c and bright sunlight, when are you supposed to wash your car..? Maybe between 10pm and 6am..?

I would say after 8.00pm - in the shade if poss - just keep rinseing the car at all times to keep thae panals cool

Aye, best done late in the evening or first thing in the morning, and as above, try to keep the panels wet all the way through (keep rinsing regularly). I did our black C2 in full sun at 3pm a few days ago, and it was fine, just had to wet the whole car again after doing each panel, and work quickly. :)
