Looking for a Digital SLR Camera, anybody know what is ggod to get, Dont want anything over the top and not too expensive! Any ideas and where is good to buy from?:wonder:

Canon 350D or Nikon D70 (possible successor coming up within the next 20 days), therefore the current D70 might drop in price. Quite possible that the Canon 350D will do as well. How much money are you willing to spend and do you have already any lenses from these manufacturers that you might use? Ebays always a good bet. I got myself a Fuji s5600 as a step up from a compact but not a DSLR but I'm certainly learnign a great deal using it and when I'm ready for an SLR I'll get one off ebay nice and cheap and flog the S5600.

Canon 30D :D

You will struggle to go past the canon 350D for value for money if you want to spend a bit more go for the canon 20D which has just been supersceded and can be picked up at good prices if you shop around. Or you could look at the Nikons but in my humble opinion aint in the same ball park just look at the white L lenses made by Canon that dominated about 90% of the togs at the world cup.
