Saw a wicked looking Batman game at ECTS 2001
Would like Resi evil code veronica, only cause I like the RE series
and of course Metal gear solid!

However (Cem will back me up on this) they had bugger all at the ECTS in the way of exciting new PS2 titles, in other words all the games there were cack! HUGE HUGE HUGE overkill of bloody GT3 steeing wheels, although the motorbike game was amusing due to Cem ripping the handle bars off the stand!

Oh yeah if you have not got a decent enough pc to run Max Payne it is coming out on the PS2 soon, get it as it is unreal! will have you diving across your living room in slow mo to change the tv channel for weeks!

Just have a look at whatever comes out and take it from there - I was a bit disappointed in GT3 after looking forward to it for well over a year, so I've decided not to believe the hype next time around!

Blf21, bear in mind that you don't have to grind all the way down each rail at once, I did this and still didn't make the distance. What's key is the ability to grind to a manual to a grind, once you can do this you can grind as much of the bars from the top as you can then use the arnco [sp] on the Cart track to finish off.

 

Tony Hawk 3 whether you like the genre or not will be a 'Station Changing' event. Online play using your choice of USB modem or Ethernet adaptor. Games PC's will suffer. I can't wait, won't have to get off my sofa at all soon. Also looking forward to WRC, but not as much.

Max Payne is out on PS2 for those of you with cack computers, £35 from jungle, it is an amazing game!

GT3 A Spec ~ getting a little tiresome now as I've cheated and got millions of credits and loads of cars.

Red Faction ~ IMHO one of the best 1st person Doom style games around. Fantastic graphics and brill challenges.

Not weanting one of those boring flight jobbies where you can fly a Jumbo from Heathrow to Melbourne in real time or anything.. just something you can pick up and play and blow the s**t out of stuff.. (Remember F-19 on the Amiga/ST !!?!)

Looks like I'll have to stick with GT3 for the time being... (I spend most of the time airborne in my 1148bhp Porsche anyway !!)

Talking about boring flight sims, has anyone seen or even dared play the microsoft train sim? Apparently you can be a passenger for the duration of the train journey, ahem umm you could get through plenty of cheese sandwiches and flasks of weak lemon drink.

Ace Combat is getting great reviews.

Just what a flight sim should be - mustn't take itself too seriously and give you loads of action.

I just saw a huge clip from Devils May Cry, from the looks of it I think that it could be something special. Graphics are nice with good attention to the characters movement (hopefully no moonwalking when you turn on the spot or walk against walls). The levels look massive with absolutely huge bosses. Anyway if the gameplay is cack the cd will always make a good frisbee or a beer mat.

 

Funki......hmmmmmmmmm......will have to look into that one then.......
