Is it possible to get a 2" mortice lock?

I've taken out the lock from the front door to measure it to check, but I can only find 2.5" or 3" mortice locks.

The current lock looks very old, but searching through B&Q and Screwfix Direct, I can't find a replacement.

Another problem is that the lock fits in a part of the door that's 2.5" wide, so if I change it for a 2.5" lock, it will poke out! :o

Any ideas short of changing the door?

Cheers
Andy

Take it with you to an ironmongery / builder / timber merchants and ask them?

(Or phone them up).

http://www.lockshop-warehouse.co.uk

I found this site that has a couple of 50mm mortice lock options.
