Hi all,
I had problems with my Photoshop so took the opertunity to upgrade to CS but now when I print pics out they are considerably darker in print than they are on screen making some shots unrecognisable(sp) :(
Is there a setting I am not aware of ?
I have printed Serif Photo Plus and all is well (other than the fooking ink running for some other unknown reason  )
Is there something I am missing in PS CS ? I never had a problem with PS 7
Please help as I need this pic printed out tonight.
Cheers
Paul.

Just a thought but have you set up your (ICC) colour profile to be the same as you had in version 7? Normally when you upgrade the older version is left intact on your machine so if needs be you could revert to it?

I'm no expert but soundds like the colour profiles are screwy.

The problem is that the old version had to be removed as it was corrupt in some way.
I will have a read of the link.

A mutual appreciation society, this thread could go on for ages... :D
I too particularly like this little section as there's never any sniping, just chat, constructive comments, some educational threads, advice and a bit of troubleshooting.
Let's hope it stays that way.
