Default WR Blue Impreza in need of some tlc.

Today I got my Porter polisher and had a go at my bonnet with what I had to hand (bonnet needs respray anyway). Now I need some good advice as to products and pads required to get the finish to a level suitable for F&M show 16th July. Going on SIDC stand not up for competition due to stone chips. Just a good finish with good shine. Thanks in advance PB. If you could give me a price aswell PB it would be appreciated.

More info on the condition of the paint (swirsl, scratches?) would be useful, but a generic novice PC kit for sorting out WR Blue Scooby paint would be...

Menzerna Intensive Polish
Menzerna Final Polish II
Blackfire Gloss Enhancing Polish (optional, does what it says)
Blackfire Wet Diamond

2 x Lake Country 6.5" Orange light cut pads (for use with Intensive Polish)
1 x Lake Country 6.5" Green finishing pad (for use with Final Polish II)
1 x Lake Country 6.5" Black glazing pad (for use with Gloss Enhancing Polish, so therefore optional)

This lot including the optional items comes to ~£100 delivered, or ~£78 if you leave the optional products out.

It's mainly swirls, there are a number of scratches that are to big to polish out . So looking at respray next year, Just want to get the best I can.

Make sure you come and say hi at F&M - you won't miss us, we'll be next to the main stage. Cheers for the order too.

Will definitely try to, going to be a very busy day though - got the top 50 cars to judge, allowing 5 mins per car that's already four hours gone before I even get to the half finished Type R that will be sitting on our stand!
